My name is Tim Sneed. I am a husband, a constantly improving software developer, and triathlon/endurance sport participant. I work at Monscierge's headquarters in Oklahoma City, where I write iOS applications for the hospitality industry in Objective-C and Swift. The opinions on this site are my own. If you are so inclined, you can follow me on Twitter and Facebook. I also have a Github profile and am working very hard at contributing more to the open source community. My online résumé can be found on Stackoverflow Careers.
If you want to contact me through email, I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please don't be rude. I am merely a journeyman trying to figure out how to write better code.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in the Fall of 2008, I started my professional career at Metavante, now FIS, working as a maintenance developer on the remote deposit capture suite of applications known as Direct. Then I went to work for Chesapeake, where I wrote and assisted in writing all sorts of Xamarin, WPF, WinForm, ASP.NET MVC, and even some Silverlight apps. After Chesapeake I went to Surgical Care Affiliates to work with a team of talented individuals on medical administration software using Angular, Web API and even some Xamarin. At SCA I developed a knack for mobile software and turned my hobby of developing Xamarin apps into my career. I don't have much of a preference between Xamarin and Objective-C/Swift, at the end of the day I love building cool things and will do it in whatever toolset is best.
